This system is designed for high-density storage and operates on a last-in, first-out (LIFO) principle. Pallets are stored on rails and are accessible on one side, making it ideal for bulk storage of homogeneous products. They bring an economic advantage to cold store environments looking to reduce energy consumption because the racks are purposely configured to provide high compact storage.  Drive-in operates using the First-in Last-out (FILO) method and requires only one working aisle for loading and picking. Drive-through has two working aisles running parallel on the edge of the structure where loading and picking is carried out separately.  Drive-through is ideal for perishable goods because it works on a first-in first-out (FIFO) basis, rotating stock automatically.
